Wristwatch that became famous in Steve McQueen’s movie Le Mans (1971). TAG Heuer Monaco (originally Heuer Monaco, TAG was at that time still a separate company) was the first automatic watch with square chronograph in the world. In private life, however, Steve wore Rolex Submariner.

Houndstooth pattern resembling a dog’s bared teeth characterized by irregular diamond pattern or abstract sharp shapes often in black and white combination, although other colors are also used. Houndstooth initially began to appear in woolens in the Scottish Lowlands, but now it can be found in various other materials.
In the smaller variations the pattern is often used in jackets and in the past in the hats and caps.  During the 60s was often found in coats and skirts and in the beginning of the millennium has been rediscovered once again.

Houndstooth sa pôvodne začal objavovať v tkaných vlnených látkach v Škótskych nížinách, ale v súčasnosti ho môžeme nájsť v rôznych ďalších materiáloch.

V jeho menších variáciách sa často využíva v sakách a v minulosti v čapiciach. Pri stredných a veľkých plochách sa v 60. rokoch často vyskytoval v dámskych kabátoch a sukniach a začiatkom milénia zažil opätovný návrat.
