Men has always had a feeling since ancient times to wear something around their neck and with the explosion of the modern menswear in the 1920s and especially with the introduction of the open-necked sport shirt, the question how to appoint the neck appeared. Neckerchief is associated mainly with scouts, cowboys and sailors. The most common neckerchief in the 1930s was solid or pattern square made of silk or cotton, but today it’s almost a rarity to find a man wearing this neckwear anymore due to the opinion it’s a feminine thing. This is one of the reasons why men are afraid of questions about their neckerchief from less sophisticated acquaintances. On the other hand wearing a neckerchief is great and easy way how to enhance your personal style.

Muži mali už od čias antiky potrebu nosiť niečo okolo svojho krku. S rozmachom moderného oblečenia v 20. rokoch minulého storočia a najmä s rastúcou obľúbenosťou strihu trička s otvoreným golierom sa preto logicky objavila otázka čo s otvoreným krkom.

Wayfarers were designed by American optical designer Raymond Stegeman for Bausch and Lomb in 1952 (Ray Ban parent company) and have been manufactured by Ray-Ban since 1956. Wayfarer sunglasses (originally intended to be marketed to men only) became one of the most desirable style icons of 20th century albeit at the beginning of the 80s were almost discontinued due to low demand. Product placement deal between Ray-Ban and Unique Product Placement guaranteed wayfarers to show up in more than sixty movies and television shows per year. Tom Cruise wearing wayfarer in Risky Business started the craze that lasted till 1990s. Popularity rose once again in 2000s when Ray-Ban re-introduced original wayfarer sunglasses design in 2007.
